Today is September 26, 2013 and we are 4 days removed from the Utah Jazz Media day! As a die-hard Jazz fan and total homer I am thrilled for the season. It is a season of change, with almost a complete roster turnover. Players returning, Jeremy Evans, Derrick Favors, Enes Kanter, Gordon Hayward, Alec Burks and Marvin Williams. New additions include 2 first round draft picks, college basketball's Player of the Year, Trey Burke, and the 7'2" Frenchman Rudy Gobert. The Jazz have also added 3 former Golden State Warrior players Brandon Rush, Richard Jefferson, and Andris Biedrins. To round out the roster, the Jazz have brought in 2 other guards as well, John Lucas III, and Las Vegas Summer League MVP Ian Clark.
Jazz fans have a lot to look forward to this season. The young guys are finally going to get their chance to prove themselves. Yes there will be ups and downs, but as a fan I haven't been this excited for a season to start since Deron Williams 2nd year in the league. The Jazz now have 5 lottery pick players that appear to be the starters at each position. One of the biggest questions will be the bench and their ability to produce. This is a bit of a step back considering depth has been one of the Jazz's strengths for years. None the less I look forward to watching every game and watching the team develop and improve!
